To continue the series
- weather is really an act of god. Airline employees cannot control the weather. We will not give you a free hotel room, or a refund, or a flight on another airline due to weather. It is an act of god.
- cursing and yelling at airline employees gets you nowhere, except maybe a conversation with the police or TSA. We often will get "selective hearing" when cursing starts.
- areas behind counters, in jetways, and behind ropes are restricted areas. Airline employees have the right to kick you out of those areas. We put the ropes up for a reason!

How you know your 3 yr old is spending too much time with his grandmother
Landon is a lucky kid. 4 days a week he is with mom or dad for the day. For the other 3, he is with one set of grandparents or the other. On a side note, my in laws do not speak very much English, usually one or two word phrases, and those are limited. It's becoming quite a joke over the amount of Spanish Landon has learned, and the fact he is able to use it correctly. Just tonight " Momma, donde esta daddy? I need him. " He also has picked up some not so nice slang terms in Spanish that hubby uses :(. Uh oh!

NaBloPoMo
Okay, so 10 days in and I have made it this far. I am really having a hard time figuring out what to blog about. I just keep thinking as I start to write something, that nobody will find it interesting. So, any of my 5 readers, any suggestions on what to blog about?
Admitting TV Addictions
I tend to fall for tv shows after they have been cancelled, and then have to scramble to catch all the episodes. My latest addiction is Strong Medicine, which went off the air in 2006. Such my luck. We won't even discuss the 11 or however many seasons of MASH that I'm still watching.

Air Travel Tips #2
More tips for today's air traveller
4. Airlines don't make the security rules, TSA does. We have to follow them too when we travel
5. Don't throw away your baggage claim slips until you receive your bag at your final destination
6. When it's raining outside, yes, your bag may get wet. Planes are unloaded OUTSIDE.
7. I am not personally gaining any money by charging you baggage fees, I am just following the guidelines established by my employer.
8. When you are late for your flight, it is not my fault. I cannot make the plane come back just for you.

Facebook Addict
I have to admit, I have become a true facebook addict. I have a farm, 2 actually, a cafe, and island and a mafia. It sucks you in! Here's to hoping that NaBloPoMo makes me blog more again. I hope to continue with more series items, such as air travel tips, frugal hints, and maybe a child activity list. I am open to any suggestions!

$3 for both boxes
You have got to love the sale section. All of this for $3! So far I have shredded zucchini and yellow squash ( I sneak it in recipes for added veggies) and made a batch of homemade applesauce. Some of the potatoes were also used tonight in Mexican casserole. Thats it for day 2!

NaBloPoMo
Okay, so here it goes. In effort to make my self blog regularly, I committed to NaBloPoMo. I really want to become a regular blogger so I am hoping this will help. As I sit here munching on leftover Halloween candy that the boys cannot eat (aka stole). I am adding this to the list of commitments I am making to myself, for myself. Well, off to bed, as I have to wake up early to get my Kindergartner out the door. On to day 2!
