C. Chore that you hate: Washing dishes! When we were looking at houses in Georgia,I was very excited to have a dishwasher again!

O. Overnight hospital stays: '01, '03, '06, and '07. Two stays were for C-Sections, one for appendectomy, one for an infection in my stomach lining (EWWW)
P. Pet peeves: People who pick their noses in public. People who want to go past you in the grocery store and just stand there and glare instead of saying excuse me. People who tailgate. I'm going to stop there :)

Long Time No Blog
Okay, the last time I wrote, I talked about my new schedule, which I absolutely hate. I don't have time for anything, including blogging. Let's catch up on the the last (gulp) 2 months.
1. I worked on my birthday, yuck
2. I spent 3 days in Hotlanta going to a class that I went to 10 years ago, and no, they haven't changed the curriculum
3. Hubby crashed yet another car, yes, this is the 3rd one in 13 months.
4. Hubby moved back to Chicago, and is now unhappily taking public transportation.
5. Hubby whines daily that he is bored at work, because, you know, Ohare Airport is boring.
6. Landon turned 3, which brought on the attitude of a 13 yr old
7. I can confirm that Joseph Jackson is just as scary in person as he looks like on tv
8. I had a migraine that lasted 4 days, and now have to take medication to prevent them
9. I got to wonder the Swedish mecca known as IKEA all by myself with no interruptions
10.The boys are on their second week long trip to grandma and grandpa's house.
Okay, just a quick review, and as you can see, I have a lot of fuel for future posts!

Labor Day
I borrowed this from Rocks in My Dryer. In the spirit of Labor Day, let's talk about the real labor!
How long were your labors?
Kid #1, 14 hrs (not true labor, sporadic contractions due to bleeding)
Kid #2, 3 hours
How did you know you were in labor?
Kid #1, never went into true labor, bleeding due to placenta previa
Kid #2, water breaking.
Where did you deliver?
A hospital, or what I would call a baby factory for the 2nd one, busiest birthing hospital in the metro Atlanta area.
Drugs?
C-section with both, both general anesthesia due to severe anemia. If I had a epidural, I would have hemorrhaged in my spine and been paralyzed

Yes, both times. Could not have a VBAC due to previously mentioned anemia
Who delivered?
Doctors, The first was the chief of OB who was called in due to the severity of all my problems. The 2nd was a Dr. from the practice I went to.

It's been a week
I've been a terrible blogger. A whole week since I blogged. There really hasn't been anything to talk about. I guess I'm in a slump. Have you ever felt like you are stuck in a rut in life and you don't know how to leave? What do you do to make yourself feel better about yourself? Do you shop, take a walk, or take a nap? Me, I eat when I am stressed, and boy, does it show. I never show pictures of myself anymore because I don't like what I look like right now. I took the plunge and joined Weight Watchers this week. I need something to keep me accountable.
